The Legal Cup 2020 (formerly known as the Manches Cup) will be the 30th staging of this popular two day sailing regatta – and is set to be the most spectacular to date. As the main social, sporting and networking event for lawyers, the Legal Cup has established itself as one of the largest regattas in the country.
Team entry is available to all legal firms or suppliers to the legal industry. A team consists of 7-10 people who you invite. Some companies bring clients or business partners for a networking opportunity, others bring internal staff as a team building activity.
Whatever your objectives, taking part provides an excellent way to network with, and promote your brand to some of the top-name companies in the legal industry. 90% of teams return each year, demonstrating the value for the teams who take part.
Friday – registration opens is Port Hamble between 3-8pm
Saturday – Sail training in the morning, with Race 1 starting at 12 noon. Races 2 & 3 follow before a spectacular themed gala dinner with live music in the Cowes Yacht Haven.
Sunday – Race 4 starts at 10am followed by the prize giving
Absolutely no previous sailing experience is necessary, as you will be accompanied by our professional skippers at all times whilst on the water. If you are an experienced sailor with your own yacht, you can register for a 'Private Entry’. You must be involved in the Legal Profession or a supplier too.
