Adventure Sailing 2014/15

With the UK summer season coming to a close, Sailing Logic can still offer fantastic sailing experiences a little further afield...

Throughout your delivery adventure you will be an active member of the crew, part of the watch system, helping with navigation, fully involved in the sailing and other tasks which come with longer passages, often requiring sailing overnight.
You will have a window in which to complete the delivery, allowing for extra days to account for weather conditions. Without the pressure of a race, it's a great opportunity to ask questions, have time on the helm and improve your overall sailing skills and with a maximum of 5 crew (plus skipper and mate) you'll have plenty of opportunity to get stuck in!

Delivery Leg 1. Hamble - Portugal. 11-26 October
Log 1200NM as you sail out of the Solent, across the Channel, round Brest and around the Bay of Biscay. Continue down the West Coast of France, Spain and finish in Cascais, in Portugal - with easy access to the UK with direct flights to nearby Lisbon.

Delivery Leg 2. Portugal - Lanzarote. 29 October - 8 November
Fly to Lisbon, meet the yacht in Cascais and set sail down towards Gibraltar, along the Moroccan coast and out to the Canary Islands with easy access to the UK with direct flights from Lanzarote.

The ARC - 21 November
If you have dreamt of sailing across the Atlantic, make your dream a reality with a place on our ARC Transatlantic Race team. This year Sailing Logic will be sending two yachts on this fantastic adventure. You will join the yacht on 21st November in Gran Canaria, in the Canaries to get involved in the pre-race preparation, victualling and general excitement.
On an ARC crossing, you can expect to experience the thrill of the race start, followed by the sense of isolation as the fleet disappear from view. The crossing takes 2-3 weeks and you usually experience a mix of conditions, but the wind is predominantly behind you - making for some fantastic kite flying miles!

RORC Caribbean 600
Join Sailing Logic on our competitive First 40, Lancelot II for the RORC Caribbean 600. The newest of the 600NM RORC races, the Caribbean 600 quickly established itself as a firm favourite - offering stunning scenery, challenging tidal patterns, steady trade winds and 11 legs as you zig-zag round the stunning islands from Antigua, around Saint Maarten, Saint Barths and Guadeloupe!
This provides plenty of sail changes and navigational challenges - enough to keep all crew more than busy!
