Sailing Logic's Lancelot 2 wins Caribbean 600 in class!

After a fantastic battle, Lancelot 2 co-skippered by Jacko and Tim Thubron finished last night - taking 1st in Class!

Four of the crew (Kate, Alastair, Ben and David) were meant to be racing on Scarlet Logic along with skipper Tim Thubron, but were transferred to Lancelot 2 after Scarlet's mast damage. The other 5 crew accepted them on-board and the new team who were thrown together just days before the race gelled really well, becoming a solid team from day 1.

Just before the finish line Jacko reported "All crew are excited and sailing as hard as we can through the night - we'll sleep when we finish!"

Tim Thubron has now won the Caribbean in Class for the past 3 years...! A fantastic achievement and he will no doubt be delighted at beating close rivals Quokka (who took line honours in Class and finished 2nd on corrected) and EHO1 (who finished 2nd on the water and 3rd on corrected) who played their part in a fantastic 3-boat battle around the course right from the start gun!

Well done guys! Enjoy the post race party!
